Gorgon Project

It will be one of Australia's single biggest developments with an estimated resource base of more than 40 trillion cubic feet of gas and a nominal development life of around 60 years.

Fiona Stanley Hospital
Category: Infrastructure The $1.76 billion Fiona Stanely 643-bed hospital is the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the Western Australian Government. It will be the major tertiary health facility in the south metropolitan area. It will offer first-rate healthcare services to communities in the south of Perth and across the state and provide high level medical and teaching facilities.

Southern Seawater Desalination Plant

The $955 million Southern Seawater Desalination plant, to be built near Binningup in the shire of Harvey, is planned to produce 45 gigalitres of water per year, with the potential to increase to 100 gigalitres. Construction is expected to start in 2009 and be completed in 2011.

North Rankin Redevelopment (NR2)
Category: Resources The North Rankin 2 Project will recover remaining low pressure gas from the North Rankin and Perseus gas fields.The project will include the installation of a second platform (North Rankin B) . The North Rankin B platform will be connected by a 100 metre bridge to the existing North Rankin A platform.

Shell Prelude FLNG Project
Category: Resources In July 2009, Shell awarded a consortium of Technip and Samsung Heavy Industries the contract for the design, construction and installation of multiple FLNG facilities over a period of up to 15 years, based upon Shell's proprietary design. Shell is planning for the first of these facilities to be deployed at the Prelude FLNG Project.

Wheatstone LNG Project

Wheatstone is a Chevron operated natural gas field about 200 kilometres north of Onslow in Western Australia. It's gas fields in the Carnarvon Basin will form the foundation for the Wheatstone Project.
Wheatstone will bring enormous economic benefits to Australia:
The project will create about 6,500 direct and indirect jobs at the construction peak.
Wheatstone will also create about $15 billion in local content spending over the project's life.

Worsley Alumina Efficiency and Growth Project
