The Drillings and Completion component includes the subsea well drilling, preparation and subsea tree installation in the Gorgon and Jansz Fields.
Gorgon will be a phased development, nominally consisting of 4 drilling and completion campaigns over a 10+ year period. The initial campaign will comprise 8 wells drilled and completed from 3 subsea manifolds. Subsequent campaigns are then staged, to facilitate the installation of the remaining wells and 2 manifolds. This will deliver a total of 15 wells and 5 manifolds.
The initial campaign is planned to commence Q3 2011, with an estimated duration of 18 months, at depths of 200 to 300m of water, 65 km to the west of Barrow Island on the North-West Shelf of Western Australia.

Drilling and well completion activities associated with the development of the Gorgon and Jansz Fields will be managed by Chevron Australia and ExxonMobil (through Mobil Australia Resources Company) in-house teams respectively. Packages listed below incorporate exploration, appraisal and development scopes managed by Chevron. While these packages are predominately for the Gorgon Fields, scope of work may include wider Chevron Australian Business Unit activities and/or Jansz field scope.
